In Kindergarten we continue with our fall activities. Today we learned about pumpkins listening to the song Life Cycle of a Pumpkin by Amanda Ellis. Then, we did a read aloud of a book called Seed, Sprout, Pumpkin, Pie by Jill Esbaum. At last, we were ready to explore the pumpkins. We discovered that the inside of this fruit is full of wet pulp and slippery white seeds. This was the first pumpkin activity this year. It was a lot of fun! We ended the class working on our fine motor skills as we painted with acorns, walnuts, leaves and chestnuts.
