There was singing, dancing, puppetry and magic on Tuesday, when ¨The Improving Co.¨ visited San Luis de los Franceses, with their fantastic series of shows called ¨Showtime¨.
First to Third graders were treated a selection of shows about India, based on tales by Rudyard Kipling, introducing us to the rich and diverse culture of South Asia. An unforgettable morning, journeying through such an exciting part of the world.
Fourth to Sixth graders explored the countries of the Commonwealth, from the Bahamas, to Malaysia, South Africa and New Zealand, hearing the stories of English colonials through such diverse activities as shadow puppetry, dance, music and comedy.
A fantastic morning for the whole of Primary in which we learned just how far the English language has travelled and why it is so widely spoken today!
