On Wednesday the 11th of October there was a short-lived revolution in the Secondary school of San Luis de los Franceses – a Pop Revolution that is! ¨The Improving Co.¨ joined us for a morning of puppet shows, dancing and singing!
First to Fourth of ESO went on a journey through the 70s and 80s, enjoying a variety of mini-shows including a selection of works by the Nobel prize for Literature Bob Dylan; Elvis Presley, John Lennon and Michael Jackson, among others. Our students sang along to the poetic lyrics of Bob Dylan´s Hurricane, grooved to the rhythm of Michael Jackson´s Billie Jean and went on an imaginary trip to Woodstock! What a wonderful way to encourage their English language learning, while at the same time discovering the origins of Pop culture!
A marvellous morning was had by all! A great opportunity for our students to explore the English language and culture in a fun way!
