To participate in the spelling bee we were divided into groups. Later our teacher asked us to spell the words according to the rules of the competition. Each week somebody was eliminated until there was a winner. I had a lot of time to practice doing the spelling bee in my house. On Friday, March 22, we had the Spelling Bee final. One student of each class represented their class as a finalist. The first two finalists were elimnated and it was just myself and another finalist left. Fortunately, the other student made a mistake so I answered my final word correctly and won. All the finalists had their picture taken together with our certificates and bag of sweets. I got an awesome prize as the winner which was four tickets to Micropolix. I think that the Spelling Bee is a good way to learn vocabulary.
