Last week, the Chameleon Theatre came to our school. Students from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade were all invited to an action packed 40 minutes of improvisation by Mike from the troupe.
There are small apples and bad apples but only one Big Apple and by the end of the show, children in Primary Level, all knew about New York City, La Gran Manzana.
We are not talking about Frank Sinatra but when you speak English and French, you get to meet many famous faces. Chameleon Theatre, a French and English theatre group performed shows for Primary classes with performances from Elvis, private detectives, doctors and Tarzan.
From Elvis to Tarzan, actor, Mike Schaupp is definitely the King of the Jungle.
Even as Doctor Jekyll, there is no Hyde-ing, this chameleon´s adaptability to change into
someone or something magical.
Magic potions, environmentalism and the Big Apple, Children travelled from jungle to city.
So call the police, these children all have their hands up
as our detectives searched for clues to find Peppa Pig.
The whole world is a stage, they say and when you invite French, English theatre company, Chameleon Theatre to your school, You too, can expect to travel from city to jungle and meet many new faces.
